A quick French vocab lesson

It seems that summer has arrived here in North Vancouver! Here are some vocabulary words to help you describe a day at the beach:

🐚To go to the beach: Aller à la plage

🌀Sea air (that lovely fresh-yet-salty smell): L'air marin (n.m.)

🏝️At the seaside: Au bord de la mer

🌊The waves: Les vagues (n.f.)

🌎The tides: Les marées (n.f.)

⏳Sand: Le sable

Et vous, vous êtes déjà allé(e) à la plage cette année ? (Have you already gone to the beach this year?)
