Are you looking for a fun and supportive space to practice speaking French with others? 

Join us at Helicon Books (125 West 1st Street North Vancouver, BC) for a French conversation event, facilitated by French teacher Cecile Afable (elle/she).

Enjoy meeting new friends who love la langue de Molière as much as you do.

You'll introduce yourself (Je m'appelle...), be paired with multiple conversation partners and discuss a variety of topics (Pourquoi tu apprends le français ? Quel est ton livre préféré ? etc…), and then we'll wrap-up with informal mingling in a group.

Speaking in French as much as possible is strongly encouraged, but some English is ok if necessary! 

Light refreshments will be served. Attendees will also have the opportunity to browse Helicon Books’ excellent selection of works by French authors (Annie Ernaux, Baudelaire…)

Open to adult learners of French of ALL levels and abilities!

Whether you are fluent, a beginner, or looking to shake off the rust, we hope you will join us!
